  6. Put yellow dal in a borosil bowl or casserole and pour onion tadka over it(mix half tadka in dal and half for garnishing on dal)..spread tadka little bit with the help of a spatula
  7. Yo'r yellow dal is ready
  8. Serve hot with chapatti and a side dish like paneer bhurji or masala lady finger
